Spiritual Growth Without the Interference of Christianity

This little plant is an image of you, suspended lovingly in the spiritual energy of God. I think this is how Jesus thought of you: Your soul, alive, not born of religious descendancy or human decision or anyone else’s intentions.

If, however, a preacher or potentate or some religious force jams a groping hand into that sacred space – deigns to reach in and take something from your soul or to impose human control upon it – that sacred energy is violated.

 Here is what I believe: You are of God. From the beginning the flowering of your soul is a divine, direct, and unmediated process.

 The purpose of this book is to strengthen your resolve and your confidence to reside in the love of God without human interference, and to reject anything less.
